Scenic Tours .
The Eastwood & District Motor Club Limited (EDMC) has pleasure in extending an invitation to join us for our inaugural Scenic Tour in memory of Rick Hickman and Paul Davis to be held on Sunday 9th June 2024.

Rick was a stalwart of EDMC, serving in many roles within the club and latterly our President. He was well known to many of the local Motor Clubs member’s and families and an advocate of club rallying and motorsport as a whole.

Paul was a longstanding member of EDMC, the Club Secretary, an active rally marshal and former road and stage rally competitor who was known to many on the local rallying scene.
Please come and join us in remembering our former President and Secretary, in the style of event and in the countryside they loved.

The start and finish will be at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre at Ruddington, Nottingham - a start/finish venue which (if you have never visited before) may surprise you with what can be found there! The route will consist of approximately 100 miles and includes some lovely quiet and picture-perfect lanes (that you may never have driven before!) and some of the legendary Cossack Road Rally lanes on OS Maps 129 / 130 / 141. You will receive a quality road book using Tulips and written instructions which will provide information about the route, and a vehicle tour plate.
Breakfast will be served as a hot breakfast roll and a hot drink at the start. A halfway halt will be designated in the roadbook, allowing participants to enjoy a picnic lunch. Upon completion of the tour, an optional hot meal will be available at the finish.
At the end of the tour, why not have a wander around the transport museum, this is included in your entry fee. You will have time to view the exhibits and chat about your day and memories with other participants.
